THE STORY & TEAM
Michelle, owner and wife to Nolan Musey at Mamma Musey's Pierogi started the business in 2019 as a hobby. She found joy in working at Farmers Markets while taking care of her family and 3 young children. With a Culinary Arts background, and a Certified Chef Certificate under her belt, she decided to make delicious craft and traditional pierogi. She learned from the best, her mother in-law who (true blue Ukrainian heritage) introduced her to the fine art of pierogi making.
Fast forward to 2020, and you can find Mamma Musey's Pierogi in 10 local shops all the way up the Sunshine Coast from Gibsons to Madeira Park. The small family owned and operated business is grateful to have Jennifer as a part of our team. Jen is the "head pincher" and kitchen manager at Mamma Musey's kitchen. Not many people can pinch a pierogi faster than her!
Nolan, is our main market guy. Next time you're at Farmers Market you can usually catch him "cooking up a storm" and "slanging rogs".
Karen is Michelle's "momager" (wink) who helps out in all areas of the business.
As if Michelle isn't busy enough with her 3 young children, she simply couldn't deny the fact that she loves to cook and create amazing food. And, from that Mamma Musey's Pierogi was created.
"I take great pride in producing a craft pierogi. I truly believe in the power of networking and supporting other local businesses. That's why I purchase local and organic ingredients whenever I can."
The proof comes through when her customers bite into any one of the many flavours of handmade goodness. They are set apart by their quality ingredients , size, freshness and the love that goes into the creation of each and every hand pinched pierogi.
